Sunday Program
Connecting Hearts with Krishna
Sunday Special Program
On Every sunday we conduct special programs and activities in our various centres in Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat and Kaithal. Program has Katha, Kirtana and Tasty Prasadam.
Our Sunday Special Program usually begins with a traditional worship ceremony, known as arati, where devotees offer prayers and devotional songs to Lord Krishna. This is followed by a lecture or discourse on the philosophy and teachings of the Vedic scriptures, delivered by a senior member or spiritual leader of our ISKCON Kurukshetra community.
After the lecture, there is usually a question-and-answer session where attendees can seek clarification or ask questions about the topic discussed.
This is followed by a very special feast, known as prasadam, which is prepared and offered to Lord Krishna before being distributed to all attendees as a blessed food.
In addition to these core activities, in some of our centers, we also organize various cultural and educational programs as part of Sunday Special Program. These may include music and dance performances, workshops on Vedic arts and crafts, and classes on yoga and meditation.
Overall, the Sunday Special Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to connect with like-minded people, learn about the rich spiritual heritage of India, and deepen their understanding of the teachings of Lord Krishna. It is a vibrant and engaging community that welcomes people of all backgrounds and beliefs to come together and explore the path of devotional service.
