History
Kurukshetra has a special guest appearance in the great epic of the Mahabharata, where the Bhagavad Gita unrolling in the chaos of the Kurukshetra War. This epic confrontation between the Pandavas and Kauravas, two different branches of a royal family, is the screen for the profound philosophical conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, a brave warrior.
Righteousness
As stated by Adi Shankaracharya Ji, Gita Bhagavad is treated as a special holy book which has all what the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself really says. This one stands apart even from other holy books which are considered the most holy one. Bhagavad Gita, which is the priceless notions of Sri Krishna, can never be separated from Krishna.
