Hanuman Jayanti Pooja Procedure
On this day one should get up early in the morning and take a bath, then get dressed in red. After this, offer Red Colour flowers to Hanuman ji, offer a devotional attire (Hanuman ji’s Chola) to Lord Hanumanji made up of Sindur mixed with Jasmine oil. Also, offer Hanuman ji’s most favourite Chickpea, jaggery and Coconut (Chana, gud & nariyal).
Offer besan ladoo or boondi ladoo as bhog prasadam.
Recite Hanuman chalisa and Sunderkand, worship Lord Rama and Seeta mata alongside. Keep fasting from grains the whole day. At last apologize for all the sin before Hanumanji.

Significance of Hanuman Jayanti
This day is entirely devoted to Lord Shri Hanumanji. He is considered as a symbol of sacrifice, devotion, power and valor. It is believed that Hanumanji played an important role in Hindu epic Ramayana where he extended his whole hearted devotion to lord Shri Rama in a war between Ravan.
Hanumanji is considered as the eleventh incarnation of Lord Shiva. The devotees express their obeisance by celebrating Hanuman Jayanti. It is believed that by worshipping Hanumanji one can remove the obstacles in life and can be successful. Celebrating this day gives rise to unity and companionship as the devotees celebrate this day together with love and devotion.
Saga of Hanumanji
Hanumanji is an incredible character from the ancient epics. He is known for his unparalleled Power, Courage & his Love and Dedication for Lord Rama. As per Hindu mythology he took birth in human form as a son of Mata Anjani and Kesari ji. He was blessed with several gods and goddesses which made him immortal and invincible. Hanumanji played a significant role in Ramayan where he supported Lord Shri Rama in a battle against the demon king Ravana resulting in defeating him and rescuing Mata Sita from Ravana’s bondage.

First Hanuman Jayanti
First Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated on purnima on Chaitra month as per the Hindu calendar (between the month of March and April), it is the actual birthday anniversary of Hanumanji. It is believed that Hanumanji took birth in human form on this day so one should get the mercy of Hanumanji by worshipping him early in the morning.
Second Hanuman Jayanti
Second Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated on Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashwini as per Hindu calendar (between the month of September and October). It is believed that Hanumanji was blessed by mata Sita for being immortal for his Courage and whole hearted devotion for Lord Shri Rama.
One should worship Hanumanji on this day to get such courage, love and devotion for the Supreme Godhead.
