Your Donation can Feed some Needy
It’s a belief system. Several people depend on this belief that someone will provide them food and share their fruits selflessly. During these tough times when the whole country is in lockdown and the poor have nowhere to go, we make sure that none of them have to go hungry or are deprived of everyday food meals.

Anna danam or Anna daan is maha daan
Anna Daan, or the donation of food, is considered the highest form of charity. ‘Anna’ signifies food, and ‘Daan’ means giving selflessly (Donation). By ensuring no one goes hungry, we uphold a collective responsibility to combat hunger and nourish lives. This noble act helps break the cycle of starvation, undernourishment, and suffering, paving the way for a brighter and healthier future for those in need.
Beaten rice, or poha, was the humble offering Sudama presented to Lord Krishna during his visit. As a true friend, Sudama remembered it was Krishna’s favorite meal. Touched by Sudama’s gesture of devotion and simplicity, Krishna was overjoyed. In return for this act of love and faith, He blessed Sudama with immense wealth and prosperity, freeing him from all his hardships. This beautiful story reminds us that serving the needy is akin to serving the divine.

Anna Daan is a way to please Lord Krishna
The one who believed that charity should not be left as this virtue because it helps make people holy and purifies them. So be an instrument in spreading his love by contributing to serving his prasadam and receive his blessings and mercy.
Shree krishna says in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 18, Verse 5),
“यज्ञदानतपः कर्म न त्याज्यं कार्यमेव तत्। यज्ञो दानं तपश्चैव पावनानि मनीषिणम्।
Bhagavad Gita: (Chapter 17, Verse 20)
dātavyam iti yad dānaṁ dīyate ‘nupakāriṇe
deśhe kāle cha pātre cha tad dānaṁ sāttvikaṁ smṛitam
Charity given to the needy without expecting anything in return is a mode of goodness. A simple donation of any amount will be more than enough to serve a thousand meals. This pure act can feed some hungry souls and let them sleep peacefully.
